Cueing

Step 1: 'Keeping your LEFT knee completely straight, lift that leg toward the ceiling as high as you can.' Step 2: Hold at end range 2 s. Step 3: Lower slowly. Step 4: Repeat RIGHT. Watch for: knee bend (most common), opposite leg lifting, pelvis tucking under. Pressure: 0/10.

Measurement

Angle of the leg from the table. Normal: 70-90 degrees. Note at what angle the client first feels hamstring pull. Record L/R.
