Axial Stack Assessment (Neutral Position)

Full Body Professional Assessment Kit Pattern Analysis full body

Setup

Client standing barefoot in their natural posture. Camera positioned at three angles: anterior, posterior, and lateral (both sides). Plumb line or grid reference visible.

Cueing

Step 1: Observe the axial skeleton alignment -- head over rib cage, rib cage over pelvis. Step 2: Note center of gravity position: anterior-shifted, posterior-shifted, or centered. Step 3: Assess access to flexion and extension -- does the client appear biased toward one or the other? Step 4: Observe force distribution: is weight evenly distributed or shifted to one side? Step 5: Classify the stack quality.

Measurement

Pattern select: well-aligned / anterior-bias / posterior-bias / lateral-shift-left / lateral-shift-right / combined-bias. Note: the 'stacked' position is a point to pass through, not a fixed destination. The goal is equal access to flexion and extension from this reference. Record specific deviations from the plumb line at each major landmark.

Modality

Supported: Remote / Active
Not available: In-Person / Passive
