Setup
Client standing. Measure: (A) foot length (heel to longest toe), (B) dorsum height at 50 percent foot length from the posterior heel.
Cueing
Step 1: Mark 50 percent of foot length from the back of the heel. Step 2: Measure the height of the dorsum at that point. Step 3: Calculate ratio = dorsum height / truncated foot length. Normal ratio: 0.30-0.37. Low arch: <0.30. High arch: >0.37.
Measurement
Record ratio (dimensionless). Also record raw measurements in cm. Record L/R.
