Setup

Client standing facing a wall. Test foot positioned so that the big toe is ~10 cm from the wall. Opposite foot behind in a split stance for balance. Camera from the side.

Cueing

Step 1: 'Lunge your knee forward toward the wall, keeping your heel flat on the ground.' Step 2: If the knee touches the wall, move the foot back 1 cm and repeat. Step 3: Find the MAXIMUM distance from the wall where the knee can still touch with heel flat. Step 4: Repeat other side. Watch for: heel lifting (invalidates), arch collapsing (pronation compensation), knee deviating inward.

Measurement

Measure the distance from the big toe to the wall in cm at the farthest point where knee touches with heel flat. Normal: 10-14 cm (approximately 35-40 degrees DF). Record L/R.
